Title: Turning Grief into Action: Addressing Gaps in Suicide Prevention

Description:
After years of seeking help for her once joyful son and rap artist, AnneMoss Rogers watched helplessly as Charles spiraled into depression and heroin addiction, ending in his shocking suicide in 2015 at age 20. Drawing on her lived experience and training, she exposes the gaps in suicide prevention—what’s missing in our systems, communities, and conversations—and shows how grief can be transformed into passionate, purposeful action. Through emotionally naked honesty, AnneMoss demonstrates how dogged persistence can create lasting change.

Takeaways:

  • What we can do by identifying struggles early and intervene before a crisis.
