This is a free virtual support group for anyone who has lost a family member, friend, or loved one to suicide or a suspected suicide. Trained facilitators guide the group and we are not mental health professionals. The group’s goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for grieving from suicide loss, free from stigma and judgment. It is a forum to connect with community members who have experienced a suicide loss. It is a place of emotional support and healing. To contact AnneMoss, leave a comment here on this post.
Meetings
Where: Richmond’s First Baptist Church, 2709 Monument Ave, Richmond, VA 23220, The Adams Room. (Sometimes we will meet via Zoom if the weather doesn’t permit, or at the Pusey House- 2705 Park Avenue, Richmond, VA 23220 if the church needs the room for a membership meeting.)
When: Roughly, we meet monthly on the Fourth Tuesday of each month from 6:30pm – 8pm. We say “roughly” because some months may shift due to facilitator travel or weather.
