Keynote Topic: When Life Knocks You Sideways: Building Resilience After Tragedy

Description: Drawing from her experience as both a brain tumor survivor and a mother who lost her son to suicide, AnneMoss Rogers shares hard-earned lessons about resilience, processing pain, and finding a way forward after life’s toughest challenges.

Grounded in the science of post-traumatic growth, she examines how our experiences reshape our perspective and challenge our assumptions about the world. Through humor, vulnerability, and practical wisdom, she offers hope without minimizing pain, and how connection, purpose, and intention can help us grow from what we go through.

Takeaways:
• A deeper understanding of post-traumatic growth and how to foster it
• What can derail healing and recovery and how to get back on track
• The good, the bad, and the ugly of this painful, uneven journey
• Why pain is part of the healing process and why avoiding it can keep us stuck
• Practical tools, resources, and support strategies for navigating trauma
