We are meeting in person and by Zoom. Inclimate weather will push us to virtual. We will let you know by email whether we are doing in-person or Zoom if you are on our mailing list. Register for Zoom just in case.
REGISTER HERE FOR SOSL ZOOM GROUP
This is a free support group for anyone who has lost a family member, friend, or loved one to suicide. This is a peer-facilitated setting, meaning no mental health professionals guide the group. The goal for the group is to provide a safe grieving environment, free of stigma and judgment. It is a forum to connect with community members suffering from a suicide loss as a place to receive emotional support.
If you want to be included on the SOSL list to get email updates for our meetings, you can leave a comment below. It will ask for your email and only we can see it in the admin panel. You will not be on any list or get any email other than meeting updates.

My childhood best friend who was like a sister, college roommate, maid of honor, and beyond committed suicide in April – so unbelievable – this has been difficult – she has always been such a part of my life
Mary-Pat that is devastating. There is a member of our group who lost her best friend to suicide when she was 20. I’m so sorry. It is unbelievable and difficult. Do you have support where you live? Do you need help finding it?
Dear Ms. Moss Rogers, I am Melvin Journiette. I am a survivor of suicide. I would like to attend the next suicide survivors meeting.
If you sign up for the mailing list on this page, you will get an automatic message on how you can attend–virtually or in person. Are you in richmond? You don’t have to be. I just wondered. If you wanted to share who you lost and any details you are welcome to. But you don’t have to. I respect whatever you choose to do
