The Mask We Wear to Work: Fighting the Stigma of Mental Health in the Workplace (aka Psychological Safety)

AnneMoss Rogers will provide virtual mental health-related education for the construction industry starting with her own story and then around the topic of speaking out, how to stomp out stigma, coping strategies, the courage to reach out for help, telling one’s story, and how drugs/alcohol may “numb” feelings and why that is a poor coping strategy. How to spot someone at risk for suicide, and what to say and do will be incorporated.

AnneMoss follows safe messaging reporting guidelines on suicide.

The eBook below has a handout and guidance on how to craft a narrative so that it is safe avoids stigmatizing language and the right message and length.
