My visit to Vincennes University was to present a suicide prevention training and education presentation as a Lunch and Learn. Then the next day I joined the community as the mental health keynote speaker for the suicide prevention walk with mostly suicide loss survivors like myself which was very healing for me.
Tucked away in smaller universities like Vincennes and Eastern Illinois University are some of the most robust programs staffed with people who really get it. I was telling Jennifer Andrews this and she shared she was a graduate of EIU which was a surprise.
Thank you to Kathy Evans LCSW and Jennifer Andrews LCSW for their trust in me. This one was booked through AAE. You can see the review there. :)
